Alila Ubud is located in the Payangan village, just outside the city of Ubud - Bali's cultural capital. Ubud is a renowned destination for international artists, and has a number of art galleries, museums, temples, and festivals.
Bali's international airport is located in Denpasar - just ten-minutes from the city of Ubud.
Blending contemporary design and Balinese architecture, Alila Ubud is its own tranquil hillside village overlooking the Ayung River in Bali's central foothills.
High on the edge of Bali's most picturesque valley, Alila Ubud offers culture and elegance surrounded by ecological wonders. A village in its own right, the hotel consist of 14 two-storey blocks and eight villas, each with panoramic views of the Ayung River.
Designed by Kerry Hill, the resort's rooms stand on stilts and blend modern materials with traditional design. Suites feature terraces or balconies; villas include either a wrap-around deck or a private outdoor bath.
Start the day off with a Thai massage in the open-air Mandara Spa or tour Alila Ubud's art gallery, then borrow a bike or take a guided trek in a nearby mountain village.
